Accessibility Statement

Great design should be accessible to everyone. Here is where we stand, and how we're improving.

Our Commitment

Casiana is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all people, regardless of ability or the technology they use to access it. We believe that exceptional design — including digital design — should never create barriers.

We view accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a checkbox. As we grow, we are committed to continuously improving the experience for everyone who visits casiana.com.

Standards We Work Toward

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines cover four principles:

  • Perceivable: Information and interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
  • Operable: Interface components and navigation must be operable via keyboard and other assistive technologies.
  • Understandable: Information and operation of the interface must be understandable.
  • Robust: Content must be robust enough to be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of assistive technologies.

All interactive elements are reachable via Tab. ESC closes modals and overlays.

Color Contrast

In Progress

Primary text meets WCAG AA. Some muted interface elements are being reviewed.

Image Alt Text

Partial

Product images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are being reviewed.

Form Labels

Supported

All form fields have associated labels and descriptive error messages.

Screen Reader Support

In Progress

ARIA labels are in place for key interactive elements. Full audit is planned.

Mobile Accessibility

Supported

Touch targets meet minimum size requirements. Site is fully responsive.

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas that do not yet fully meet our accessibility goals:

  • Some decorative images may lack appropriate alt attributes — we are conducting an audit.
  • Certain muted text elements (used for secondary UI labels) may fall below the WCAG AA contrast ratio — we are reviewing and updating these.
  • Screen reader announcements for dynamic content (such as cart updates and toast notifications) are being improved.

We are actively working to resolve these limitations. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please let us know.
